of Corrections. He was well liked and respected by both staff and inmates at
Washington Correctional Institute in Angie, Louisiana. Major Ledet was a
Certified EMT, Post Firearms Instructor,PPCT Weapon Retention Instructor,
Tactical OC Instructor and Electronic Capture Shield Instructor.
Todd was born in Newfoundland,Canada on June 17, 1961 as Maxwell Todd
Noseworthy. He was adopted by a Louisiana family and given the name Walter
Todd Ledet. When Todd was tragically shot and killed on July 11, 2001, he was
taken from this earth way before his time. Obviously,Todd will be greatly
missed by his family, but he had friends who will never forget the man who
touched our lives. The man we knew and loved wanted to live life to the
fullest. He was a soul searching for answers that he could never find. He
had a good heart, although, by his own admission he was no Angel. We loved him
for the man he was and the man he wanted to be. This is our Tribute to the man
we will never forget and who will always be apart of us until it is our turn to
cross over and we meet him again.
