As sure as the sun comes
up in the morning and sets at night we know there is a need for what we
do. We take in and provide a safe haven for the exotic animals in our
midst that no longer have a place in peoples lives.
Things happen,
times change, animals are for life.
We are NOT a 501 C business, (it is over $500 for
the application & the lawyer cost) but in fact a business that has a working
relationship with the animals we share our lives with. We are currently
on 1 acre of land and do seek between 3 to 5 acres, to have trees to
some degree will be a valuable asset to keep the animals cool. Animals
die so quickly in our heat if left unattended. If you know of exotics
needing a new home, well that's what we do, if you wish to make a
donation to our gaining land efforts please contact Lori or Brett by
e-mail
What can you do,
how you can help.
This page has been placed as an
aid to the animals that we rescue from unforeseen circumstances. There
are many many animals out there needing homes.
We rescue all animals with the
exception of cats and dogs. The reason we do not rescue cats and dogs is
there are already many rescue organizations, that specifically cater for
these animals. However, exotic animal rescue is so much more difficult
and time consuming, only specialist people undertake this.
We will adopt, rescue, take-on
almost all animals that are in need of a new loving environment.
We will check their health,
feed them, give them a place to live, and do anything we can to make
their lives happier.
What we ask, is that you look
over the list of items on our list, if you have anything that may be of
help to us and our rescued critters, please let us know.
We are in need of company or
private sponsors who can help with the cost of sending us out to spend
time and visiting with our animals to those who are less fortunate than
most of us. These places include, hospitals, nursing homes, deaf, blind,
autistic & children's homes etc. If you know of a specific place for
us to go, please inform us.
We appreciate your time in looking over this
page,
Sincerely yours Brett & Lori Matte.
