On June 10-13 2004 the AVP tour came to San Diego (Mariner's Point in Mission Bay). Lee and I worked as volunteers shagging balls during Saturday morning opening rounds. We worked on Court 4 for matches with:

 Eric Fonoimoana / Kevin Wong
 Jake Gibb / Adam Jewel,
 Anthony Medel / Brad Torsone,
 Paul Baxter / Scott Wong,

I didn't get any pictures from the morning matches we worked (we were too busy!) but we hung around after our shift was over and watched several of the women's matches.

We also attended the "Dinner with the Pros" event on Friday evening, which included a clinic ("Play with the Pros"). Players in attendance were Holly McPeak, Mike Lambert, Canyon Ceman, Eric Fonoimoana, Mike Whitmarsh, George Romaine, and (one other). Jenny Johnson Jordan and Barbra Fontana were also wandering around (although not part of the clinic).
