Stone
Brewery's

I.P.A

Trying to rule out any local bias on my part I've tried as many IPA's as feasible to determine if Stone is really "better." It does still hold as my favorite IPA.

Bear Republic's
"
Racer 5"
Another really good, hoppy IPA. Only comes in a big bottle (22 oz.)

Sierra Nevada's
Pale Ale
Always come back to this one, and you can find it anywhere.
A very good pale ale; a little hoppier than
Bass. Really should be in the favorites column.

Guinness
Stout

The
  ultimate
  classic.

Sierra Nevada's
Bigfoot Ale
(Barleywine)
9.6% alcohol and very, very, very hoppy; this is a strong drink!

Samuel Smith's Oatmeal Stout
( That's a clear-glass
bottle!)

Franziskaner
Weisse
Biers

Bass
Pale Ale

Another
classic

  Heineken
Special Dark
In the brown bottles. This is an underrated beer, Heineken's good reputation notwithstanding.

Paulaner
Hefe-
Weizen

Very good, very smooth German-style wheat beer.

  Honorable mention...
