Nothing too serious... Just a steady involvement
over the years with various "garage bands," all listed
further down on this page:

Djembe

I also have a djembe, which is
just a great, versatile, fun
African-style hand drum.

 Tim "Timbo" Bull - Bass

What We Played

 3 original songs by Steve

This was a project to get a demo
tape made of some of Steve's original
songs. We recorded three or four
songs in the recording studio which
was part of the public radio station
actually located onboard the
Yorktown in Charleston.

Playing onboard the Yorktown

  6th Incarnation (circa 1988)

Who

Me - Drums
 Ed Dukes - Guitar
 Paul Johnson - Bass

What We Played

cover songs:
 - Sitting Still (R.E.M.)
 - Bittersweet (Hoodoo Gurus)
 - North, South, East & West (The Church)
 - Blood & Roses (Smithereens)
 - Behind the Wall of Sleep (Smithereens)
 - Finest Work Song (R.E.M.)

- Blister in the Sun (Violent Femmes)
 - [something by The Smiths]

This was another attempt to get a
working band off the ground and play
clubs around town.  We auditioned for
a lead singer for a year with no luck.
(Eventually we found Jessica, but too
late to keep the thing from fizzling out.)

for a group of visiting Japanese students.
