We know very little about her except she married Thomas P. Desper, who immigrated to Arlington with the Fidler family (late 1840's). We also know Thomas Desper is buried in the family cemetery in Arlington.  We don't however know where Eliza is! She long outlived Desper (by over 30 years) so perhaps she got married again, and/or possibly moved far away from the area. (I've searched for her as "E. Desper" in cemetery listings for Upshur County and surrounding areas but to no avail... If she's out there it's under a different name. Or, if she died as a Desper, she's certainly not buried in Upshur County as far as I can ascertain.)

One interesting thing is that Eliza's marriage to Thomas Desper is recorded in the Fluvanna Co. marriage records and is easily found online.  This is not ordinarily the case with any others from our clan, even those for whom we do know what eventually became of them!
