Muse are on the cover of ´Rip and Burn´ Magazine this month and have a 5 - 6 page interveiw on them breaking america and being "on the Brink of being the biggest band in the world" and how they are on their biggest ever tour, also they reflect on the past because of the feeling they are getting in america that they got when they first started in Europe.
The band are not planning on doing any new songs until they start thinking about the next album, next year as they don't want them to become B-sides.

"As reported on various music websites over the weekend, MUSE’s bass player Chris Wolstenholme sustained an injury to his hand in a fall at the tail end of last week whilst on tour in the US. This meant that the band had to cut short their participation in Curiosa (the travelling festival helmed by The Cure) – of which they had been headlining the Second Stage. The touring party returned home on Saturday and Chris and his management immediately sought medical advice on the injury. They are at present awaiting test results and further medical counsel regarding the injury. The band is also currently investigating other alternatives should Chris not be able to take to the stage this weekend for their headlining slot at the V2004 festival in Chelmsford and Stafford."

On Monday August 30th Absolution is being re-released exclusively for the Australian market to coincide with their sold out national tour. The re-release will feature a bonus 6 track live disc recorded by Triple J radio station down in Australia.

TasteMedia are intending to release a track from the Glastonbury set as a download single with Oxfam's site 'Big Noise Music'. All money received from this track will be going to charity.
Hysteria
Warner Brothers Records will be officially releasing "Hysteria" to radio stations in the Alternative radio format (in America) on Tuesday, August 17th.
College
MUSE returned to the College where they were students to officially open the new Arts Centre and to donate music instruments for students studies.
