About Us

My name is Katrina.  I consider myself to be a very warm, caring, outgoing, bubbly, organized and down to earth person.  I make sure to appreciate all that I have and take nothing for granted.  Trying to always see the positive side of things keeps my spirits up and I feel makes those around me smile. I pride myself in making those difficult people warm up.  My hobbies include cake decorating, gardening, working out, reading, traveling, watching movies and just being with Jeff (my husband).  I started making cakes about two years ago, but I think that my husband would say it feels longer with the magnitude of cake pans and tools I have collected.  Check out the link below to see pictures of some of my creations.  I am a graduate of Walsh College, Troy, Michigan.  I have a bachelor's degree in accounting with a CMA major and a CIS minor.  I currently work as a cost accountant.  I have lived in Michigan my whole life and I feel content to stay here.  I feel if it is feasible, it is important to live near your parents (both my parents and Jeff's live very close to us), I am not talking next door, but within 30 minutes.  As far as kids go, right now my babies are our kitties - Callie and Codi.  Kids are in the future.

Jeff is my husband.  He is a very warm, caring, kind, generous, organized and down to earth person (as well! Funny how we get along!). Jeff has taught me that every night is a 'date night'.  He has taught me how important it is to have 'us' time in our lives.  We make sure that we put our relationship first and then everything else falls into place.  I go to the gym, Jeff plays many sports.  He can be found on the softball field, volleyball court, racquetball court, running, golf course or even playing disc golf.  We do enjoy riding our bikes together (both motorcycle and bicycle).  Jeff is a graduate of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.  He has a bachelor's degree in business and a master's degree in accounting.  I guess we are what happens when two bean counters get together!  Jeff is a Manager of Global and Capital Markets for an automotive supplier.

Together we can be found ridding our bikes, going for motorcycle rides, sitting on our back porch watching the sunset or working on investment real estate.  We also enjoy traveling.  Our trips so far have led us to Cancun, Mayan Rivera, Jamaica, Chicago, Las Vegas, just to name a few.  The background in this page is a picture I took while we were in Cancun.
