As a child Alessa lived in the woods with her mother. Her father was a prince and her mother a seamstress for the royal family. Her father made sure that alessa was born healthy before sending her and her mother away to keep their secret. If it was known that he had a child with someone other than the princess he was betrothed to, he would not inherit his fathers kingdom. Her mother took the newborn child and left the kingdom and somewhere in a tangled forest she found a small abandoned cottage. It was one small room with a hearth and a small cot on the back wall. She settled in with the few things she brought with her. She tore a piece of her skirt off to use as a cleaning rag. She was able to tidy up a bit and the next day she found that not too far from the cottage there was a small creek. In time she was able to clean the cottage enough that she felt safe allowing baby Alessa to crawl around the floor. Over time she was able to make it a home. Alessa grew up playing with animals in the forest for she had no playmates. As she grew Alessa, who was named Alessandra Exavier to hide her true identity, wished to see more than the same trees and animals. She had grown tired of the little brook behind their home, it no longer brought her the contentment it had as a child. At the age of 19 Alessa was told by her mother, that she was not truely Alessandra Exavier. She told the young woman of her real father, Xavier who was the prince of a nearby kingdom. She explained that she had been sent away to raise Alessa as her own. Upon hearing this Alessa grew ever more restless and knew she must find out more about her past.
