A special angel sent to us, to brighten up our days
An angel that we couldn't see, through tear drops and dismay
Every parent looks to see the beauty that they made,
And if it isn't perfect, they may turn their face away

Dark clouds hover overhead and gloom spreads through the day,
And then a special angel smiles and moves the clouds away.
A hand of love held out to you, a child of gentle beauty,
The image of an angel, God gave him to you.

And then the day will dawn anew and a miracle appears
The beauty of your new born child, an angel you hold dear,
You see the glow of happiness, the beauty that's inside
You see the face of an angel, and throw away your foolish pride

A child that is so perfect he loves no matter what,
And when you feel alone or blue, that child will hold you up.
He looks beyond your imperfections, hugs you when you're down
Kisses you with baby kisses, even when friends are around

A child that God created, to spread his love throughout,
An angel without wings that sings and shouts.
The world has given a name to them, and we should all be proud
They call this perfect child, a child with Down's.
