A Poem/Invocation by Dakini (4th Shift - Cill Abhaill)

Open yourself to [Brighid]
Let [Her] wisdom flow into your soul and permeate your being
Let it warm you
Let it heal you
Let it empower you

Walk into the fire, child
Become the fullness of the woman that is within you
Be the healer
Be the Mother
Be the Goddess

Rise into the sky, Sister
Share what you have learned
Share your heart
Share your passion
Share the wisdom of [Her] Way

A Poem by Pat (19th Shift-Cill Abhaill)

The summer sultry glows and verdant nature grows;
rich plants peek through the hot stones while greening trees groan.
Her powerful presence still stirs through the chrome towers
while She blesses, with gentle care, harrassed hordes there.

Inspiring though the sterile machines - Shining One,
champion of the crafts sage in a mechanised age.
The Exalted One fulfilling our hearts teeming,
creating a life worth living in these fast days.

The goddess Bride spreads Her protection city-wide,
cutting through the urban sprawl - tending people all.
Timeless, sweet goddess for this busy, careworn age -
Sovereignty and Love in the swirling city ways.

A Prayer by Vessel (1st Shift-Cill Abhaill)

Today while tending the flame for Brighid, I see the world
outside my window. I see a world that needs healing and
her people who need to be reminded of who they are, and
their connection to all living things.

Brighid bring us sight
Guide us through the night
Teach our minds to heal
And our hearts to feel

Grant us all safe keeping
Awaken those now sleeping
Help them all to see
Who they were meant to be
