We are a small kennel and only have as many dogs as we have
time for. Our dogs MUST have a stable temperament as we have 3 young daughters
and 1 son, who can be seen on the juniors page.
Our kids and dogs must be able to live together peacefully!
When we have puppies available we ensure that our puppies
are only sold to loving committed homes and we do our best, through the questionnaire
and other means, to ensure a good match. Our puppies are a life-time commitment,
they are not to be something bought and then given away a few years later.
We want our puppy buyers to be committed to 10-15 years with this pup. Our
puppies are all home raised and are well cared for and socialized.
We prefer you to enroll your puppy in a puppy kindergarten
class and then regular obedience classes as their age permits. This will help
insure they are learning what puppies and dogs need to learn to become great
companions.
The questionnaire serves the purpose of helping us become
better acquainted with the people inquiring about our Aussies. It serves to
present us with a more complete picture of what you are looking for in a dog
and to help us match you as a potential buyer with a dog that will, ultimately,
turn out to be what you are looking for. Please fill it out completely and
provide references as requested.
All of our pet puppies are sold on a Limited Registration,
without exception, which means that if the dog is bred, the resulting offspring
will not be recognized or registerable with ASCA or AKC. Puppies sold as companion
pets are required to be spayed/neutered with no exceptions by the age of 8
months. We also have a 3 year health guarantee on all pups which
includes eye annomolies, hip dysplasia, and seizures for all pups.
At the time you purchase your puppy you will be asked to
sign a completed sales agreement. You will be given a copy of all applicable
registration papers, our health records and any other information we feel
you may need.
Pet/Performance
and Show/Breeding puppies are physically and mentally sound. The final decision
being based on the dogs's comparison to the breed standard. Only puppies determined
to contribute to the betterment of the breed by temperament, trainability,
structure, and movement are sold as Show/Breeding Quality.
All of our puppies have their eyes cleared at 7 weeks of age before leaving
for their new homes. They are given a natural worming medication and any other
necessary health boosters. They begin crate training, and some obedience including:
sit, down, come and leash breaking. They have been to the groomers for clipping
nails, bathing and hand blowed dry. They have been outside to meet our other
critters, been in and on some agility equipment, brought to the grooming
shop, training classes with the older dogs, vets, car rides on errands, and
friends to get socialized. If you are wanting to come visit we allow this
after the pups have turned 4 weeks of age and only if we are the only kennel
you are visiting that day. We do not want to possibly bring something in to
our babies. We do not let our babies go home till after 8 weeks of age, this
ensures they get to learn from the older dogs and are past a fear age that
puppies go through.
When a reservation for a dog is placed, a $250.00 nonrefundable deposit is
required, which will be deducted from the purchase price of the pup. No
pups will be held without a deposit. No one will be put on a waiting list
without a deposit as well. Should a breeding not produce the specific type
show/breeding, temperament, performance ability, the buyer may use the deposit towards
another puppy from the same litter OR the deposit may be refunded. All pet pups are placed solely on temperament of pup and family lifestyle, not on color and sex. This insures the best match for the home and the pup. No one wants a puppy they cannot handle! Deposits
will not be refunded for any other reason.
