Welcome to this informal monthly gathering of writers, visual
artists, performers, composers and other artists with a variety
of disabilities. Please share your interests and talents, support
one another's work, and advocate for increased opportunities for

* Tara Innmon, Maggie Bergeron and Linda Shapiro will
speak at a forum on "The Human Continuum of Dance
It Takes All Abilities," Friday, January
21, 9:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Hennepin Center for
the Arts, Studio 5A, 528 Hennepin Av., Minneapolis.
* Six artists with disabilities received $1,000 Artist
Recognition Grants from VSA arts of Minnesota this
month. Funded by the Jerome Foundation, grants went
to four visual artists:
Mark Davison, Mpls., Sculpture; Serik Kulmeshkenov,
Mpls., Cartoons, Photography, Drawing; Roald Molberg,
Duluth, Stoneware; Eric Skoglund, Mpls., Relief Prints;
a poet, Naomi Cohn, St. Paul; and a performer, Stephen
Goldstein, Mpls., Sound Design.
* Disabled and Proud airs every Tuesday at 7:00 pm
on KFAI 90.3 fm in Minneapolis, or 106.7 fm in Saint
Paul. To hear the current or previous show online
