In 1986, Dr.
Victor Corbett murdered
his patient Jane Dorothy Duchene, by discontinuing her insulin
by two thirds, so she would
die of insulin deficiency before her brother, Roger Krause,
died of pancreatic cancer, Roger Krause had suddenly become terminally
ill with pancreatic cancer, within one month of getting Jane to
sign a will. Jane had to die before Roger, so Roger's wife Bessie
could claim on this will, and so she did

Corbett was a family friend of the Krauses, and medical associate
of their son, Bob, who is a pathologist and colleague of Corbett's.

Richard
Hendrickson, who represented Bessie Krause, pictured bottom,
right, in probate court, knowingly
assisting her to profit from the crime of murder. He
did this for about eight years.
He only dropped Bessie as a client when she had run up a $30,000.00
debt for legal fees, which he hoped to recover from the estate
of Jane Duchene, or her only child, daughter, Mary Jane.
It does appear that closer scrutiny of Richard Henrickson's
legal practice, and the extent to which he is still associated
with apparent milking of estates and subordinating criminal
acts, in conjunction with estates and probates, possibly including
the Berkovitz matter, is something that should be done by authorities
in Hennepin County?

MINNEAPOLIS
- Susan Rae Berkovitz went to a court hearing with the intention
of killing her cousin and her cousin's lawyer using an antique
revolver she purchased from a gun show, according to charges filed
Wednesday.
Berkovitz, 52, of St. Paul, was
arrested without incident Monday shortly after the fatal shooting
of Shelley Joseph-Kordell, 56, of Minnetonka, and the wounding
of attorney Richard Hendrickson, 53, of Crystal.
Prosecutors charged Berkovitz with
one count of first-degree murder and one count of first-degree
attempted murder Wednesday in the shooting at the Hennepin County
Government Center.
Berkovitz was in the county jail
in lieu of $2 million bail. Hennepin County Attorney Amy Klobuchar
said prosecutors would bring the case before a grand jury within
two weeks.
Joseph-Kordell died a few hours
later from her injuries. Hendrickson was in satisfactory condition
Wednesday at Hennepin County Medical Center, with a bullet still
lodged in his neck, but family members said he was expected to
recover fully.
The Smith & Wesson .38-caliber
revolver was manufactured sometime between 1890 and 1910, and
held five bullets, said Sheriff Patrick McGowan. Berkovitz told
a deputy that she bought it at a gun show last summer, McGowan
said.
Berkovitz and Joseph-Kordell had
been in a long-running dispute over Berkovitz's father's estate.
