Links to my Website Graphics Sources

If you've come to this page, you're probably looking for cool graphics. When I first started surfing the search engines, looking for cool graphics (icons, lines, backgrounds, animated .gifs, ...), I couldn't believe how many I was finding! I spent (literally) hours looking at all the different sites. You will find that some of the links I have provided here may not be current sources of my graphics. But they are all fun to look at, and you never know when I might add more graphics to my pages.

Thanks for visiting my site!

(My personal favorite!)

hIdaho Color CenterTM
This is a JavaScript application that lets you quickly and easily try out text and background color combinations, as well as background textures. It has proven invaluable to me, since I have a hard time deciding on color combinations! You can choose a background color, text color, link color, used link color, etc., and it shows you how they all look together. Another of my favorites!

W.W. Logo Free Web Graphics To Download And Use
There isn't a lot at this site, but the stuff is original, and they have cool BACKGROUNDS.

Iconz Icons
This site has a lot of really CUTE STUFF (cartoons, etc).

I downloaded icons from:

This site has lots of advertisements, and starts out in frames, so don't say I didn't warn you! But there's lots to choose from, too!

These folks didn't provide a banner, but here's what they ask you to place on your page, if you use any graphics from their site:
Some of the graphics used on this page were found at fOUR bEES - Free Web Graphics.
It's called the fOUR bEES, because they started out having "Bars, Backgrounds, Buttons and Bullets", but now they also have Banners & Borders. (so technically, it's the Six Bees) ;-)
Seriously, they have some cool stuff you should check out, and I like their site, because they use frames in a constructive way - list of files on left, click on a file, view graphic in frame on right.

Here's one I haven't used, but there are really cool 3-D letters (the whole alphabet) here. He does require you to use the following, if you use any of his graphics:

The Corporation: Icon Gallery
If you are making a personal webpage/site, just go here. It's hilarious! Here's how they described the site on the Yahoo! search results: "sardonic icons for web developers".

I LOVE this site. Way COOL animated GIFs, and other stuff. I found a flying TWEETY BIRD!

If you are working in pure HTML and need the # codes for colors, I finally found this site:
The Browser Safe Color Palette
They offer the palette in two "orders" - hue and value.
