Place: Zvulun Beach, Herzelia
Time: 5:45am- 9:30am
size: chest high dropping to waist high+
conditions: GLASSY!!! Offshore wind until around 7 and then the wind died down and the water become perfect "shemen" (oil). The wave was hollow, tubes galore. I was able to squeeze into 3 (making it out of only 1) but all three of them broke on my shoulder, so I was mostly in it. Mostly the waves were closed out, but that gave me an opportunity to practice my floaters (which I pulled off some nice ones). Around 8:45 I took off on a steep wave, ducked for that barrel and so the close out infront of me, so I decided to ditch. The board hit the bottom and when I came up, I saw that the entire nose was crushed out of shape, bummer, no more surfing today. so I took my camera out of my car and shot 36 shots which I think will be golden. It seems that everytime I think the roll I shoot is good, it sucks, but this time I think I even got some shots of people in the tube. Check my homepage in a week, the pix should be up. I surfed in the dark for 15 min. with only 4 other people, it was great. then it started getting a little crowded, so I moved to the southern peak. at around 8 the crowd started thining out, so I moved back to the center peak.
