Nicholas Moulin  was born in France roughly about 1786.  He married Marie Heidet around 1806 in France. They came to America about 1819 and probably settled in Stark County, Ohio.

Nicholas Moulin was born in France in 1807.  He came to America when he was 12, about 1819 and his family probably settled in Stark County, Ohio.  In 1830 in Stark County, Ohio,  he married Maria Catherine Balot.  He was a carpenter and died after a fall  about 1831.

Nicholas and Maria Catherine (Balot) Moulin had one child, Peter (1830).

Peter Moulin was born in 1830 in Stark County, Ohio.  He married Isabella Culp in 1850  in Adams County, Illinois.  They went to Missouri about 1857.  They were in the Daviess County, Missouri censuses in 1860, 1870, and 1880.  He died in1896 and is buried in the Hill Cemetery, Daviesss County, Missouri.

The children of Peter and Isabella (Culp) Moulin are:  Anderson (1852), Louie (1854), Mary (1856), Martha (1858), Sylvia (1860), Lura Alice (1862), Johnnie Francis (1864), Sylvester P. (1867), Charley (1869), and Emera Lawrence (1871).
