ON ROMAN
Welcome to ON ROMAN's Personal Page. ON ROMAN came to live with us in 1994. He has been a pleasure to have around and has found his permanent resting place with us.
On Roman has accomplished a great many things earlier in his life. In the early 80's he was on the cover of the Appaloosa World, and had several full page ads. He has been trained by some of the greats such as Ted Turner & O J Martens. He was owned by the FG Syndicate at one time. National & World Champion, Undefeated at Halter, Twice winner select sire futurity. He dropped out of the spotlight in the 80's. Most people we meet have never heard of him or knew he existed. Some say they are surprised to find an own son of Roman's Straw Man still alive and producing. But the ApHC as we know it today does not have alot of information about ON ROMAN. They stated in the earlier years records were not kept. The good news is, alot of his accomplishments are shown in various Appaloosa World Journals in the early 80's. We are still seeking more information or stories about On Roman. If anyone has information they would like to pass on to us about this wonderful stallion it would be greatly appreciated.
