| Once you have decided that I am the artist you desire to do your portrait, we make an appointment for a photo session in my studio. You also may want to see other examples of my work that can be shown here in St. Louis, or by my mailing photos of completed portraits. The first step is a photo session where I shoot at least 36 pictures with a professional lighting setup. After we choose four or five of the best photos, I proceed with the portrait to the stage where I want to see the child again, mainly for a color check. Usually the portrait is completed within two weeks of that sitting. In the case where I have to travel to your city, I do color sketches at the time of shooting the photos. |
