a New Life

She was dressed all in white,
As she glided down the aisle;
Her love was shining on her face,
As he beamed the whole while.

The maids were gowned in blue,
Roses in their arms lay;
Little girls dressed in pink,
Spread petals on their way.

Joy filled every face,
Many an eye held a tear;
This was a day for happiness,
A day to dispel all fears.

A new life she has begun,
She is now someone's wife;
Her days will be busy,
As she walks through this life.

The love shared this day,
Can grow forevermore;
For she travels a new road,
She has opened a new door.

Our love will always be with her,
Her family will never leave;
We wish her only joy,
In this new life she weaves.
