This page is about my
home....Missouri.
Missouri is located
in the middle of the
United States of America.
It is surrounded by the
states of Iowa, Nebraska,
Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and
Illinois.
We have 114 counties.
Kansas City is in the
west and St. Louis in
the east. The capitol
of Missouri is located
in Jefferson City which
sits in the middle of
the state on the Missouri
River. The Mississippi
River makes up our eastern
border.
The Capitol Building
faces the Missouri River.
Most photos of our capitol
are taken from the back
which faces High Street.
Missouri is filled with
lakes, rivers and forests.
We have farmland and
large cities. We have
historic sites and amusement
parks. We have the St.
Louis Zoo and Jesse James'
hideout. We have many
caves.

I have visited several
states but I have never
found anywhere as beautiful
as Missouri. I will always
call Missouri my home.
The music you are hearing
is The Missouri Waltz,
our State Song.
