CATS
Cats are a special friend,
They have few demands;
They only want your love,
And tolerance if you can.
Cats have an attitude,
They know they are great;
They don't want your pity,
They have accepted their fate.
My cat is much better than I,
Of this she is sure;
She doesn't want to be held,
She longs to stay pure.
But every once in a while,
She needs to know I care;
She rubs up on my leg,
So then I pet her hair.
Of course she expects to be fed,
The first thing in my day;
And I know that she loves me,
In her own special way.
I wouldn't trade my cat,
For money or for fame;
A dog could not replace her,
Samantha Sue is her name.
