I contemplate the words of God,
And find comfort for my soul;
I know in my heart He loves me,
So, for Him, I will go.

I think about how He suffered,
How He gave His life for me;
I now can be with Him in heaven,
And that fills my soul with peace.

I contemplate His teachings,
About how we are to live;
I want to be His follower,
And my best to Him I'll give.

I think about those who are lost,
Who haven't accepted His gift;
I want them to know my Jesus,
And how He can give life a lift

I contemplate all He has done for me,
I am sad that others don't know;
I pray all men will find Him,
And allow their faith to grow.
