 We all receive the blessings of Easter,
If Jesus lives in our heart;
He died upon an ugly cross,
To give to us a new start.
The blessings of Easter we often find,
When we celebrate with family and friends;
For it often gives us a reminder,
That Jesus' love never ends.
Grace and mercy are Easter's blessings,
Given by our Lord above;
He made these available,
When He died for us in love.
He paid the debt for our sins,
So to heaven we could go;
During your life upon this earth,
The blessings of Easter you can know.
But His death is only part
Of the story of our Lord;
He rose again on the third day,
In His Word, it is stored.
So enjoy the Easter blessings,
That Jesus bought for you;
Accept Him into your heart,
And make your life all new.
