My favorite thing in this life,
Is spending time with my Lord;
He guides and leads me every day,
And I am never bored.

Next on my list of favorite things,
Would, of course, be my family;
They bring me happiness and joy,
And fill my life with days of glee.

My Scrabble friends have made the list,
They help to keep me sharp;
We laugh and have a very good time,
And on problems never harp.

My church family I must have,
For they love me and show they care;
The kindness and love which emanate,
Is a precious jewel that's rare.

Ice cream is a must for me,
And the songs of birds that I can hear;
Flowers that bloom grab my heart,
These things to me are dear.

My Precious Moments figurines,
Are a treasure for my kin;
But I get to see their beauty,
And note what's said within.

These are my favorite things,
That someday I'll leave behind;
But just having them for a while,
Tells me God is good and He is kind.
