"Jesus is the only Way"

It's hard to laugh on this day,
My heart doesn't want to cheer;
It's difficult to say good-bye,
To habits held so dear.

I want to do this, make it end,
From this I want to be free;
Lord, help me to hold on tight,
Your love let me see.

Send your precious Spirit,
With determination and will;
To see me through this ordeal,
And make the cravings still.

I am not a strong person,
You know that, I am sure;
So give me the help I need,
To make my body pure.

I want to be here for my kids,
A life I want to live;
Your power can get me through this,
Your grace to me please give.

Then when we have succeeded,
Your priaises I will sing;
Your love will be rejoiced,
Songs of thankfulness will ring.
