THE LORD PROVIDES PEACE

The Lord provides peace,
When lives crash out of control;
He heals the broken heart,
And saves the tormented soul.

Troubles will consume you,
If on Him, you do not lean;
Let Him carry your cross,
He can do it unseen.

My Lord is my Savior,
He died for sins done;
A place with Him in heaven,
For me He has won.

My tears fall gently,
When heart tears in two;
But, my Lord puts His hand on mine,
And I realize my troubles are few.

When the breath is knocked from me,
And I know not how I'll stand;
I can always count on Him,
He'll hold me in His hand.

Be not afraid of this life,
Of temptations and sorrows and tears;
For Jesus will see you through,
And provide peace to calm those fears.
