My Lord is with me day and night,
He makes my pain and suffering light;
He gives me much joy and peace,
From my sins He gives release.

He is holy, He is great,
He saved me from the devil's fate;
He deserves all of my praise,
So my hands and heart I raise.


When I am hurting or in pain,
He has often with me lain;
He gives comfort, He gives peace,
He gives new life, He gives new lease.

I can find joy in every single day,
When I live my life in His way;
I'm so happy He stays with me,
this Jesus who fills my heart with glee.


I can only hope and pray,
Others see Him in me today;
I pray they'll find the joy I've found,
Standing on His solid ground.

Humbly come and bow before Him,
Give Him praise, give Him your sin;
He will fill your life with faith,
As you live life by what He saith.
