My God knows all my thoughts,
He gives me words to write;
I like the words of love He sends,
When my heart is filled with fright.

My God is awesome, holy and good,
He knows what is best for me;
I've put my life in His hands,
His provision and love I always see.

It isn't always easy to follow,
Sometimes I cry out, "Why?"
But I've made the right choice,
So I just hang on and sigh.

Jesus is the only way, I know,
Without Him my days would be long;
But He sends His birds to serenade me,
And I'm filled with His holy song.

Yes, God knows all my thoughts,
He knows my pain and heartache, too;
I can always count on Him,
To comfort and see me through.
