The power of prayer I cannot deny,
Prayer has often made change in my life;
Prayer gave me insight as a teen,
And prayer made me a wife.

When we pray, we remember God's in control,
His plans and purposes will always have sway;
Of course, God does not need our prayers,
But He knows they help us live His way.

Honest prayers pack lots of power,
The Lord always listens to what we say;
He's not a genie to grant every wish,
But He grants those that follow His will and way.

Prayers are a conversation with God,
The Holy Spirit makes sure they are God's will;
Jesus Christ advocates for us,
So our prayers are always precious still.

When we pray, God's power is loosed,
Our God is mighty and loves us so;
He will give us only good gifts,
So confidently go to Him and feel His glow.
