My Rock and Anchor

My Lord has been faithful,
On this rough, uphill climb;
But He gives me the strength,
To get through this trying time.

Life has been hard,
And I almost lost hope;
But Jesus has reminded me,
He will help me to cope.

Jesus is my rock in this world,
He is my anchor through rough seas;
I cry out to Him in my pain,
And He always listens to me.

This road we are on right now,
Is filled with ups and downs;
But I can count on Jesus,
To make my hopes sound.

When this battle is over,
And the war we have won;
All praise goes to my Jesus,
For all He has done.
