Spring is in the air,
Birds sing joyfully to their Creator;
Plants peek out of the ground,
Hoping for blossoms sooner than later.
The crisp air revives our souls,
As God proceeds to paint the world green;
People who have been inside all winter,
Can once again be seen.
Children are out playing on swings,
Squirrels skitter around looking for food;
The sun seems so much brighter,
All God's creation is good.
The days are growing longer,
We want to spend time with friends;
We barbecue and laugh with joy,
And our smiles never seem to end.
Yes, spring is in the air,
With it comes the Easter season;
We are saved by Jesus' death and resurrection,
Now to rejoice, you have a reason.
