No matter how long the winter,
Spring is sure to follow;
Ice and snow will be gone,
We'll see robins and even a swallow.
No matter how long the winter,
The flowers again will bloom;
The sun will once again shine,
And warm up every room.
No matter how long the winter,
The tinkle of streams will be heard;
When the sun is shining bright,
And we hear the song of the bluebird.
No matter how long the winter,
Daffodils will blow in the breeze;
Colors will cover brown earth,
And nothing will have to freeze.
No matter how long the winter,
God always sends us spring;
At a time we'll truly enjoy it,
And, hope will come to sing.
