Sing a song of spring,
The sun again begins to shine;
Hear the music of the birds,
Everything is just fine.
Sing a song of spring,
As the trees put on their green;
The flowers peek out of the ground,
It makes me feel like a queen.
Sing a song of spring,
Let's head for the outdoors;
We've been in way too long,
We want to see birds soar.
Tulips will soon show color,
In this world that is so drab;
Jonquils will dance in the breeze,
A handful we'll want to grab.
Sing a song of spring,
As God paints the land;
We've been waiting far too long,
So I know His plan is grand.
