Take
this
snow
and
shovel
it
Though
beautiful
it
may
be;
There
is
more
a-comin'
And
my
sidewalk
I
cannot
see.
Snow
in
tree
branches
is
pretty,
I
like
snowmen
built
up
tall;
But
I
don't
want
it
on
my
sidewalk,
Because
then
I
might
fall.
Snow
is
great
for
children,
They
can
ride
upon
their
sleds;
But
as
for
me
and
my
wishes,
I'd
just
as
soon
stay
in
bed.
Take
this
snow
and
shovel
it,
Though
beautiful
it
may
be;
I'm
ready
for
spring
flowers,
And
green
leaves
upon
the
trees.
Take
this
snow
and
shovel
it,
May
winter
quickly
be
gone;
Then
all
the
birds
will
return,
And
I
will
hear
their
beautiful
song.
Take
this
snow
and
shovel
it,
It
just
won't
melt
too
fast;
But
before
we
all
know
it,
Winter's
snows
will
be
past.
