Take time to smell the roses,
Take time to praise the Lord;
Take time to read His word,
And He'll give you a mighty sword.

Take time to quiet your spirit,
When the day is in a rush;
Take time to relax and rest,
In this world find a hush.

Life these days is hectic,
We never seem to get done;
But if time is spent with God,
The battle will be won.

Gaze out the window at the big, blue sky,
Hear the birds as God's praise they sing;
Look at the beauty of the earth,
God created everything.

Take time to smell the roses,
But spend time with God first;
You will find betterdays,
And He will satisfy your thirst.
