We should always appreciate our gifts;
But thank not only the Lord this year,
Thanking others will give spirits a lift.

Thank your mother for the gift of life,
She didn't have to love you;
Thank your dad for days of fun,
And the time he spent to guide you.

Thank your sister for accepting you,
And your brother for the spark in your life;
Thank your husband for supporting you,
And husbands, don't forget your wife.

Thank your son for making you laugh,
And your daughter for the joy in your day;
When all of these have heard from you,
They'll look at life in a new way.

Yes, thank the Master this Thanksgiving,
But also every single night;
He has blessed us one and all,
