This is the letter I recieved about a week and a half after sending an actual letter in the mail to Hasbro's consumer relations departments (the two addresses listed on the old O-Ring MIA site).

Dear MR WELLS,

Thank you for contacting Hasbro, Inc. We do appreciate the fact that you have taken the time to share your experience with us.

Hasbro Inc.'s number one concern is to make quality 3 3/4 GI Joe firgures that are fun, safe and rewarding for all consumers. That's why we maintain extensive testing procedures during the development, production, assembly and packaging of all our toys. Please be assured that we have shared your comments with those who work closest with that aspect of our operation.

Again, thank you for contacting us.

Sincerely,

CONSUMER AFFAIRS DEPT.

I would like to think that this meant something but after reading it I wasn't at all satisfied with the responce. But I think this is much more than I would have gotten from just sending an email. Please do your part and send some snail mail to Hasbro to let them know how we feel about things. I think my letter must have single handedly brought back the o-ring so I figure you owe me. (And by the way that miss-spelling of "firgures" wasn't me, it was in the letter) Ahh...
