I found this through a link on Quick Kick's Theater and an ebay auction. But since ebay auctions don't stick around past thirty days and I wasn't sure if QKT would actually post the info on the site I thought I should document it. The "Live the Adventure" board game has an unusual version of the artwork for Zarana. Pictured below you can see that there are four distinct differences. The most obvious is the dragon (or serpent?) tattoo on the arm facing us. On the card art it was removed and in it's place they put a pink shoulder pad. The next difference was the cleavage line was slightly altered to not show so much skin. On the board game her shirt continuously angles down but on the card it's raised up making more of a "U" shape. The last two are not so obvious but they are there. The arm that is farther away was also switched, from some sort of cloth material to another pink shoulder pad. The last one is the tear in her jeans on her upper thigh. On the board game it was just her skin and it was later switched to the pink under whatever that we know from the card backing. That's quite a lot of changes just for one figure. I find it kinda odd that all of those alterations were made on Zarana considering that she was the one in the whole "nude scene" scandal from the movie. Wonder if some one at Hasbro had a bit of a crush on her? If anyone knows any more info about why the changes took place or who used to do the paintings for the figures please email me.
