SOUND STRANGE ? Not really, according to experts. As far back as biblical times, people have recognized the power of humor in overcoming everything from stress to major illness.
It has a positive impact on virtually every system in the body, plus provides a boost to the immune system and reduces pain. Even in the toughest of circumstances, a dose of appropriately used humor can make a enormous difference. It can serve as a way to overcome fear, anger and stress, plus boost creativity and well-being.
And of course, prayer is the key that brings about this condition that will enable man to enjoy any humor and laughter in his soul.
PSALMS 126:2 " Then was our mouth filled with laughter, and our tongue with singing: then said they among the heathen, The Lord hath done great things for them. " VERSE 3 " The Lord hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad. "

WHEN I LIVE LONG ENOUGH TO BE
A PROBLEM TO MY KIDS.....
WHEN I'M OLD, GRAY AND HARD OF HEARING,
I'LL LIVE WITH EACH OF MY KIDS.
And bring to each of them as much
happiness and joy as they brought to me.
I especially want to pay each of them back for all
of that joy they provided Mom and Me.
Returning each wonderful deed !
Oh,.....they'll be so thrilled and excited !
WHEN I'M OLD, GRAY AND HARD OF HEARING,
I'LL LIVE WITH EACH OF MY KIDS.
Why I'll write on their walls with colored
crayons, red, white and blue,
And I'll be sure to bounce on their furniture.....
wearing my old cowboy boots with spurs.
I'll go to their " FRIG " and drink from the
milk carton and then leave it out on the table.
I'll cram toilet paper in all of their toilets
and oh how they'll holler and shout !
WHEN I'M OLD, GRAY AND HARD OF HEARING,
I'LL LIVE WITH EACH OF MY KIDS.
When they're on the telephone talking to their friends
and just out of reach, I'll go out in the kitchen and play
with things like syrup, sugar and bleach.
Sure, I know they'll click their tongue
and shake their head,
And when thats all over, why I'll hide under
my bed !
WHEN I'M OLD, GRAY AND HARD OF HEARING,
I'LL LIVE WITH EACH OF MY KIDS.
When they cook a big dinner
and call me to eat,
I'll not eat my green beans or
meat loaf and spit out my salad,
I'll gag on my okra, spill my milk in my
plate and on the table.
And when they get angry.....I'll just run in the
other room.....that is: " If I'm Able ! "
WHEN I'M OLD, GRAY AND HARD OF HEARING,
I'LL LIVE WITH EACH OF MY KIDS.
I'll set up real close to the TV and turn
the volume up real high, and then with the
remote, I'll click every channel just to try,
Then I'll cross both eyes just to see if they will stick.
I'll take my socks off and throw one away.
And then play outside in the mud 'til the end of the day !
WHEN I'M OLD, GRAY AND HARD OF HEARING,
I'LL LIVE WITH EACH OF MY KIDS.
And later that night while in my
MY PRAYER IS THAT :
bed, I'll lay back and groan,
with a big sigh,
Then I'll thank Sweet Jesus in prayer and
close my tired old weary eyes
My kids will look in on me with a
little smile slowly creeping, and say with a groan,
" He's so quiet and sweet when ever he's asleep !
GOD WILL BLESS ALL OF THE PARENTS EVERY WHERE
AND
ALSO MY WONDERFUL KIDS
WITH LOTS OF HIS ABUNDANT LOVE
