You told me blue
Was the color of your eyes.
I'm sure they have a twinkle
Like the stars in the sky.
I'm sure they could warm me,
to the depths of my soul,
And with just one glance,
I'd be in your control.
You've taken my heart
And you share my dreams.
I am under your spell,
Or so it seems.
I've known many feelings,
But none can compare
To the feelings you give me,
That I wish we could share.
I may never meet you,
But I'll say a prayer
And tonight in my dreams,
I know you'll be there.
Don't Ask Me To Explain

You touched a place inside my heart
No one has ever touched before.
So many feelings I kept locked away,
But you opened up the door.
You always bring the sunshine
And chase away the rain.
I do not understand it,
So don't ask me to explain.
I only know I feel you near,
Each time I speak your name.
I only know without you,
Nothing would ever be the same.
I believe we were meant to meet,
I do not question why.
I cannot change the way I feel,
I don't even want to try.
You gave new meaning to my life,
In your warm and caring way.
I keep you here inside my heart,
It is there that you shall stay
Forever and a day.......
Don't Try to Tell Me

Love does not come with a switch
That can be turned off and on
You cannot tell it to leave
Or bring it back once it's gone
You can't go out and look for love
If you do you'll never find it
One day you just open a door
And love is there behind it
Then it starts to grow
Until it fills your mind and heart
You always feel so lonely
When from your love you are apart
Love crept in and stole my heart
Just like a clever thief
I would have stopped it if I could
And saved us both a lot of grief
Now you want me to tell my heart
To stop loving you
You want me to tell it
To find somebody new
Well I told this to my heart
But it doesn't want to know
Sometimes I think it might stop beating
If I force it to let you go
When your love for me has ended
Just do what you must do
But don't try to tell me
I have to stop loving you
