The Blessing Chant

May the powers of the One, the source of all creation, all-pervosive, omnipotent, eternal. May the Goddess, the Lady of the Moon, and the god, Horned Hunter of the Sun; May the powers of the spirits of the stones, rulers of the elemental realms, may the powers of the stars above and the Earth below, bless this place, bless this time, and I who am with you.

All the Same Soul

Fur and feather, and scale and skin, different without, but the same within. Strange of body, but one of soul, through all creatures are the Gods made whole.

The River

The river is flowing, flowing and growing. The river is flowing, down to the sea. Mother, carry me, your child I will always be. Mother, carry me, down to the sea.

The Balance of the Wheel

Air moves us, fire transforms us, water shapes us, Earth heals us. And the balance of the wheel goes 'round and 'round, and the balance of the wheel goes 'round.

Prayers before meals

O Goddess within, O God within, I now partake of the fertility of the Earth. Bless this food with your love, blessed be!

Morning Prayer

Bless this day, sun of fiery light. Bless this day, protect me till night. Blessed be!

Evening Prayer

Lady of the Moon; Lord of the Sun; protect me and mine, now day is done. Blessed be!

Goddess Prayer

Beloved Goddess of the silver moon! Mistress of the mysteries-Queen of the sea! I call upon thee in ancient names-Artemis, Cerridwen, Hecate! Beloved sister of the hidden wood! Child enchantress-Star of the night! I call upon thee of the untamed wilds-descend with your laughter and secret delight! Beloved Mother of the ageless womb, from which the many worlds, at once, were born! I call upon thee of the gentle Earth- From whose breast, and whose belly our bounty is shorn! Beloved wisewoman, spinner of fates! Weaver of dreamwebs-bearer of death! I call upon thee of the waning skies- grant me your vision and open my eyes! Goddess I ask thee to live within me! Grant me your knowing, and show me to see! Lend me your wisdom and love for all things; Goddess of magick, I call unto thee! Artemis, Cerridwen, Hecate! Artemis, Cerridwen, Hecate! Artemis, Cerridwen, Hecate! (repeat until Her presense is felt all around)

Chant for Moon Gazing

Hail fair moon. ruler of the Night. Guard me and mine, until the light.

Chant for when the Sun is Setting

Hail fair sun, ruler of the day; rise of the morn to light my way.

A Fast Way to Cast a Circle

Say: By the air that is in Her breath. By the fire that is in Her spirit. By the living waters in Her womb. By the Earth that is in Her body.

The circle is cast, let the ritual begin.
