Samhain is celebrated on October 31st and can also be referred to as Halloween and All Saint's Day. For a Witch, it marks her (or his) New Year. It is one of the most important Sabbats of the year. It is also the day when the way between the dead and the live becomes the shortest, so as it is possible to communicate with them.
