We have used to have three Staffordshires, Gypsy(who now is deceased, due to a snake bite. But her daughter Crystal is now fully grown)
Crystal, And our Stud Male Cheroekee,
Gypsy is a Red Female Staffordshire Bull Terrier,
She was born in December 1996. A pedigree dog cannot be
bred until they are older than 12 months and have had their first heat.
Staffys make great pets, they are very good with children and are very
intelligent. They are an energetic dog and crave attention and love, as do
most dogs. If you are considering getting a staffy, or any dog make sure
you have enough time for a dog, as they take up almost as much time
as children and become a part of your family.
Puppies are cute, but also a lot of work. They need to be fed three times a day, wormed every two weeks (less as they get older) and played with to be socialised properly, not to mention vaccinations. A warm place to sleep, with a flea free bed.
Cheroekee is our Stud Male he is classed as a Black and Brindle Staffordshire Bull
Terrier. Chek, as we call him was born in march 1996. A staffy
grows in hight until they are one then their head and chest continue to grow until they are
four. Our male is slightly large for a staffy but matching him up with our small red female
produces excellently sized staffys. as you can tell from some of our grown pups.
This is oscar the pick of our first litter, he has turned out to be a fine staffy, just like his parents. A show quality dog.
