Coffee Pot (notams)

April 1, 2003: Saddened by Mayor Daley's closure of Chicago's Beloved Meigs I am asking all pilots to bring their aircraft over to Palwaukee until we decided on the next step. I already have the parking arranged.

March 23, 2003: SCEC announces regularly scheduled flights between Meigs and New Castle Municipal Airport, New Castle, Pa.

March 23, 2003: SCEC is proud to announce Ray Schmidt to our staff. He is new to the hobby, and will bring some ideas of his own. We look forward to his participation.

March 9, 2003: SCEC is proud to announce hiring of two ladies to better serve our customers while in flight. They will be seen on those longer flights were a galley is a consideration. The first is Maria Ramirez a student at the local college for performing arts. The second is Linda Kowalski who has a few years of experience in a major airline headquartered here in Chicago.

March 9, 2003: SCEC is undergoing negotiations with West-Penn to add regularly scheduled flights between the two locations.

March 8, 2003: SCEC assigns Kevin as the hub captain for the Meigs Field squad. His experience in the charter cargo industry will be a welcome addition. When Kevin was asked to assume the duties there he stated in resounding "Who me?" Seeing the opportunity, I took the initiative and had the limo service cart us over to the Goose Island Brewery and bought dinner and a few microbrews before he refused.

March 5, 2003: SCEC welcomes Kevin Hillner to our crew at Second City Executive Charters. He is a native the area, and is very familiar to the goings on of Chicago. He brings a Piper Cherokee 6 with him, and lots of experience. He has volunteered to scout out possible new locations for us.

February 24, 2003: SCEC is also happy to announce the addition to our roster of Chris Kramer. He brings with him a very nice Piper Archer II. We look forward to working him like a dog in the near future. Currently, Chris is assigned to Meigs, and will be  provided the appropriate real estate pamphlets and directions to all the good brew pubs.

February 24, 2003: SCEC is announcing partnership with West-Penn Air. All details have not been ironed out; however each service is committed to the success of the other.

February 24, 2003: SCEC is proud to welcome John Nightwolf to our little operation. John is a veteran of the frozen tundra in Alaska where he dodged weather and mountains. I am sure he'll need an adjustment period to orient himself in our Chicago Metropolitan area. If any one has a good apartment, let him know. John brought with him a vintage Beechcraft 18, and will be joining me near Highway 294 in Palwaukee. Welcome Aboard John!

November 12, 2002: SCEC completes its first flight. The flight from Palwaukee to Spirit of St. Louis Airport was completed with the King Air 350.

November 11, 2002: Second City Executive Charters opens for business in two locations Meigs Field and Palwaukee Municipal Airport.
