Castle of Impassioned SoulsHe began the climb, took a stand fought all the lands below His princess waited far above, though she wasn't aware of his plight He heard her cries, as she wept to waters wishing he could wipe the tears with a kiss Each sob his heart did hear, his race to the peak grew stronger The prince, a tall brave man...many dragons he has slain And, many a man...who thought...the princess was fair game For she has only given her heart to just one soul, and within his strong hands, is where she finds her home He's getting closer, his heart begins to soar As the clouds part and lift around him the tower of an impassioned soul is now.. within his sight Auburn tresses and emerald gown swept up in the breeze... His senses so aware of her, the fragrance of her perfume in the air... or is that just a memory Standing there, alone searching the seas below Her pleas, music to his ears "I only ask, for his safe return...that the dragons and evils do not take what has so shortly been my own" One more challenge, does he have.... He sets upon himself A bridge he could easily cross and gallantly stride through the threshold But, this prince a noble man...throws caution to wind and proudly climbs the castle walls to stand atop Just, so he may see the princess from grand view As she turns to see ... who dares to cross the stone Her heart takes flight for her Prince has just returned
