The WebTV/MSNTV browser is called 'Mozilla' with the code-name 'bowser'. It uses a pseudo 'Internet Explorer' version browser, at a level resembling MSIE4.0. (it also runs some 'Netscape' like features). IE (internet explorer), is the Microsoft Browser for PCs. Most PC users now use MSIE6 and above. Mozilla has limited HTML 4.0 CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), and no support for CSS2. The WebTV browser only supports a partial/reduced use of javascript, which WebTV calls 'jellyscript'. |
