The Samuel Mellor Family
Samuel Mellor was born in 1749 in Macclesfield, Cheshire County, England. On August 3, 1775 in Chelford, Cheshire County, England, he married Mary Corner, the daughter of George Corner, Sr. and Martha Dumville.
Mary Corner Mellor was born on November 26, 1755 in Chelford, Cheshire County, England.
In 1795, Samuel and Mary Mellor immigrated to America with their family.
On July 30, 1825, Samuel Mellor passed away. Mary Corner Mellor passed away on May 24, 1835. Both died in Waterford township, Washington Co. Ohio, and both are buried in the Center Cemetery there.

- She married Simeon Evans on June 16, 1799.
- William Mellor, born Sept. 19, 1781 and died Sept. 21, 1804.
- Matthew Mellor, born May 14, 1783 and died Feb. 12, 1801.
- Joseph Mellor, born Nov. 3, 1784 and died Nov. 18, 1784.
- Mary Mellor, born Dec. 21, 1785 and died Feb. 19, 1819.
- Sarah Mellor, born April 1, 1789 and died Sept. 19, 1854.
- She married Smith Green on Nov. 21, 1813.
- Love Prudence Mellor, born June 29, 1791 and died March 7, 1816.
- She married Edmund Perry on Nov. 29, 1813.
- John Mellor, born Aug. 17, 1793 and died Jan. 3, 1882.
- He married Abigail Briggs on Dec. 24, 1818.
- Eleanora Mellor, born Aug. 4, 1798 and died in 1832.
- She married William Bacon on March 9, 1817.
