George Corner, Sr. was born on July 9, 1734 in Macclesfield, Cheshire Co., England. His father was William Corner. His mother is unknown.
On June 9, 1754 in Chelford, Prestbury Parish, Cheshire Co., England, George Corner, Sr. married Martha Dumville.
Martha Dumville Corner died on October 6, 1803 in Waterford township, Washington Co., Ohio. George Corner, Sr. died on October 5, 1804 in Waterford township, Washington Co., Ohio. Both are buried in the Center Cemetery there.

- Mary Corner, born Nov. 26, 1755 and died May 24, 1835.
- She married Samuel Mellor on Aug. 3, 1775.
- Ellen Corner, born Feb. 12, 1757.
- She married (1) William Brentnall on July 29, 1777.
- She married (2) John Brentnall.
- Matthew Corner, born Oct. 16, 1759 and died about 1836.
- He married (1) Hannah Horsman about 1789.
- He married (2) Ann Ashcroft on July 4, 1805.
- William Corner, born Oct. 23, 1761 and died July 16, 1795.
- He married Mary Broadhurst on April 15, 1783.
- Elizabeth "Betty" Corner, born March 4, 1764.
- She married Thomas Snelson on Sept. 8, 1782.
- George Corner, Jr., born July 22, 1769 and died about 1805. - MY LINE
- He married Ann Clark on Nov. 15, 1791.
- Martha Corner, born May 25, 1771 and died June 1795.
- Sarah Corner, born Sept. 8, 1775 and died Feb. 25, 1852.
- She married John Bacon on Nov. 9, 1794.
