Marie's Tea Cake
2 Cups Sultanas
1 cup brown sugar
Add 1 cup hot strong
tea
Soak
approx. 2 hours
Then add:
1 beaten egg
8 oz SR flour
pinch mixed spice
Mix well
Place into greased
or lined loaf tin
Bake 180C - 350F
3/4 hour
Serve cold sliced
and buttered
